you envision the piece you'd like
Your first conversation with us will start with your vision. Whether the piece you have in mind is one you’ve dreamed up yourself or one you’ve found on Pinterest, we want to see it.
From there we’ll learn what’s important to you. What’s the purpose of this piece? How will it be used? Where will it be located? What colours and textures will be nearby?
together we workshop its design
You can be as involved in the design process as you’d like. Some of our customers give us full creative control, but you might like to workshop the design with us along the way. We’ve even had an architect draw up his own design for us to create. It’s entirely up to you.
Whether you decide to get involved or not, we’ll make sure you’re updated as we go. We love sending our customers progress shots!
We can alter designs, dimensions and materials to work within most budgets, and we’ll work with you until you’re happy with the design, price and delivery date. No rush.
We won’t push, incessantly follow up or spam you. That’s not what we’re about. We’re passionate about our craft and want you to have the piece you’ve envisioned.
we bring your piece to life
When we say we craft consciously, we mean that every decision we make along the way is a conscious one. If you tell us you want a timber top, we won’t just pick up the first pieces of timber we see to make it. We’ll ask ourselves questions like how can we arrange these pieces of timber to best accent its feature? Which side of each piece is going to look better from where you’ll be seeing it? Does it look good as a whole? Does the surface need filling? Or should it be left natural? Can we improve the user’s experience with how we pull the piece together?
Bringing your piece to life involves many exciting steps like picking out materials from our favourite suppliers, cutting and welding your frame by hand, having it powder-coated in the colour of your choice and piecing it all together.
We use only the highest quality steels, timbers, sealants, glues, resins, tools, consumables and suppliers because we’re passionate about quality and we want your pieces to last a lifetime.
